Sao Paulo and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre celebrated International Day of Yoga 2021

Consulate General of India, Sao Paulo and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre celebrated International Day of Yoga 2021 today with a small gathering of students at the premises of SVCC, Sao Paulo.

Consul General, Mr. Amit Kumar Mishra gave the opening remarks for the event and highlighted the growing significance of Yoga in the last few years. Consul General's address was followed by classical Indian dance performance by Bharatnatyam dance Guru, Iara Ananda Romano. Ms. Iara presented the `Nava Rasa Padam` or the expression of Nine emotions.

Prof. Marcos Rojo, Founder , Instituto de Estudos e Pesquisa em Yoga (IEPY) led the demonstration of the Common Yoga Protocol.
